Hi,
I'd like to get my package (geomview) into "testing". ARM is one
of the architectures for which the build has failed, so I had a look
at the buildd log to see why.

There are around 250 packages linked against libncurses5, and I don't
particularly want to preemptively rebuild them all. Of those 250, about 30
depend on libc 2.2 and a

Gutted.
Here's a small hack that might help. Save this as something like
/lib/libBrokenGmonStart.so and create /etc/ld.so.preload containing the path
to that library.

`less' started today, which is a bit odd, given the package was last
updated a month ago on my system - presumably one of the libraries I
updated today.
