Changing the statement around my SSL vhost
configuration to seems to have solved
my problem.
Notice; the statement did work with the previous
version of apache2 in Debian testing.

Apache2 server has been running fine for years with SSL enabled. However
since this I upgraded Apache2 I can't connect to the https:// service
anymore, although the http:// service runs fine.
Firefox complains: has sent an incorrent or unexpected message.
