I think that this patch should be imported in the Debian package? Shall I open

Hello!
While attempting to purge net-tools (in favor of iproute) on my system
one of the packages that prevented me from continuing was apache2.2-common.
I've quickly looked at why it depends on net-tools and found that
debian/apache2
es noticeably longer than usual. So, the patch is
neither the final nor a perfect solution, but it is practical and demonstrates
that protection against the Slowloris attack can be achieved.

NO!
workaround:
# chown root:www-data "/usr/lib/apache2/suexec"
# chmod 4750 "/usr/lib/apache2/suexec"
make my apache 2.2 work again with suexec enabled.
Thanks,

Hm, that is a bit bad with sharing. But then, it sounds like it is a bug
in the ssl-part. I reassigned the bug as well to openssl.

Package: apache2
Severity: normal
Hi,
apache (1.x) recently switched to libdb4.4-dev, but apache2 still uses
libdb4.3-dev.
Now php5 can't be built due to conflicting build depends: libdb4.4-dev
(pulled by apache-dev) and libdb4.3-dev (pulled by apache2-prefork-dev).

Hi,
I think the problem was somewhere else. Sorry for the inconvenience.
Can I close this ticket somehow?
Kind regards,

d deleted the .subversion/auth/
directory, but it didn't help. I can try that option tomorrow, but
I guess it won't help either.
