Package: apache2.2-common
Version: 2.2.3-2
Severity: grave
Justification: renders package unusable
When starting apache get the following:
Starting web server (apache2)...apache2: Syntax error on line 185 of
/etc/apache2/apache2.conf: Syntax error on line 1 of
/etc/apache2/mods-enabled/php5.load
Hi,
I also had to enable several modules to get AuthUserFile
authentication working.
* auth_basic
* authz_user
* authn_file
After adding them and reloading apache2 authentication worked as
expected.
Kind regards,
Michael

Apache2 segfaults on startup because libapr1 is compiled with epoll
support, which is not supported by a 2.4 kernel.
Recompiling the package with a 2.4 kernel fixes the problem.

Correct, this is a bug in the PHP package. It doesn't depend on the
proper ABI and a bug for this has been filed already.
