Hello,
I've originally posted this message to debian-java but I got no answers, I
cross post here since I think it's relevant anyway.
Thanks,

Hello,
I was unable to find mod_jk2 in Debian, so I tried to compile it myself
from sources got from apache
Package: apache
Version: 1.3.29.0.1-3
Severity: important

The apache package fails to upgrade:
Setting up apache (1.3.29.0.1-3) ...
Starting web server: apache failed
invoke-rc.d: initscript apache, action "start" failed.
dpkg: error processing apache (--configure):
subprocess post-ins
I observe the same thing as James but for me with a segmentation fault.
I commented out the line :
#LoadModule perl_module /usr/lib/apache/1.3/mod_perl.so
after that apache run.
I do that because this morning an upgrade of perl (5.8.0 --> 5.8.2) arrived in
testing.
