installation as long as I create my installation media from the latest
release of Debian & I will use the accessible installation method.
So I got it from the following link:

Hello,
Samuel, do you think that there is something strange about the unit I
am installing Debian on? This is Lenovo Thinkcenter m83.
I can get ORCA talking after I put into
/etc/speech-dispatcher/speech.conf the following line:
AudioOutputMethod= "alsa"

Hello,
David is right about lynx working in more blind-friendly way in Debian
than in Slint since Debian comes with lynx.cfg preconfigured differently

Hi,

In the graphical environment, after login, I have no speech and my
Braille display shows only 'Window without name" message.
No issues within the console so far.
Any fix for the graphical environment, please?

Samuel,
I don't know what made you think that I did not try alt+F1 before
writing to the list.
Whatever I tried, before letting the list know about my difficulties,
brought me back to the message 'Window without name' showed on my
Braille display with no speech available to me after login in either
Hi,
I think that the blind Linux community would benefit more from
consolidating the knowledge of talented programmers and creating one,
but maximally complete screen reader.
I am sure that it would be better for all of us to effectively support
the development of ORCA, as is the case with NVDA in
