In version 5.5 there was a bug in option '-s' (scanimage).
This problem is solved in this 5.5.2.

The problem is that eBook-speaker uses the Alsa sounddriver, but
Alsa is overruled by pulseaudio. So the devices hw?: doesn't work.
The solution
Start eBook-speaker with the option "-d default" and it should work.

I'm testing this program and I've a problem. The device in output, hw:0,
is invalid. What value should I replace with? No value works between
hw:1,w 1,1, 0,1 0,0, etc. An idea how to feel this field in the conf
file? So far I just get "Invalid argument".
