Hello Øyvind,
The Jessie installer has xfce as the Debian desktop, which isn’t accessible by
default, because gnome-orca doesn’t get installed with the xfce task.
There has been a discussion on this in the past, and for some strange reason,
the xfce team wouldn’t have orca installed with the xfc
stall a Desktop environment and I got
speech when the system booted up to the text console.
