Hello List,
ich
i have installed debian bookworm on a SSD on my lenovo edge e130.
After that i cloned my T490S with help of apt-clone.
brltty, espeakuup, an orca works.
speakup works in the ttyx consoles. After login into orca and a crash, i
have no voice-output of speakup/espeakup in the ttyx
Did you run
spd-conf
?
Normally I install a new suser setup, but I'm not sure if Debian requires a
system install.
If so, then do
sudo spd-conf
and select system
I also select alsa rather than the default pulseaudio.
HTH.
