Unable to get sound to work in the installer as well as a live environment

debian-accessibility@lists.debian.org Dear Debian accessibility team, I am unable to get sound to work with debian. I have tried the firmware-10.9.0-amd64-netinst.iso however, there is no sound. The debian wiki suggests that beeps should be heard when the installer appears (however they do not). N
