Hi, When I installed Mate using apt-get, my speech was not affected. As I had configured speech to start automatically, what I did was to simply change my desktop from Gnome-Desktop to Mate. mattias jonsson via orca-list writes: > if i install mate manualy via apt. do i have to configure speech
