I haven't messed with display settings in over 7 years, but one thought that comes to mind is that maybe the settings are being changed, but not immediately applied. If that's the case, a reboot or even just logging out and back in might force your computer to display the gui with the new settings.

None of the commands make a change. How can I check to see if the default theme is installed? I can't change to white - the cursor is now black. I wanted to see if that command worked, but that doesn't work either. The size commands don't work and the color commands have no effect. Thanks, Dav
