Mmm, I also realize that we have a /etc/X11/Xsession.d/90qt-a11y which enables QT_ACCESSIBILITY when accessibility is enabled. Why not just doing the same with GTK_MODULES? That'd fix the LXDE case, which in my tests is the last after Gnome, XFCE, and MATE, I haven't had a look at Cinnamon yet.
