The Jessie installer has xfce as the Debian desktop, which isn’t accessible by
default, because gnome-orca doesn’t get installed with the xfce task.
There has been a discussion on this in the past, and for some strange reason,
the xfce team wouldn’t have orca installed with the xfc

feedback is good. If I remember correctly, the

I'm a long time Debian user.
I primarily use Debian for server stuff with CLI only with Speakup.
I now want to try Linux out as a desktop OS.
It looks like Debian has switched to XFCE as default desktop in sid/testing.
Will I be able to use the XFCE desktop with Orca?
