as you might have noticed, we did huge progress on the HPPA (PA-RISC) port:

In order to be able to boot parisc machines, the hppa port needs the "palo"
debian package.
"PALO" is the "PA-RISC boot loader" and a boot-loader-image generator, sim
[I'm not the maintainer of this package.]

Thank you very much for following up on this. Indeed, tiff now builds
fine on m68k and

elgar runs like a tank now, never had any issues again unless I
messed with it. Builds packages 24/7, sitt
