I have testet it as root.
The test with Kernel 2.2.17, 2.2.19 and 2.2.20 has the same result.
Xsane says `no devices found`.

I have installed Debian 2.2rev4 with Kernel 2.2.10 .
When i`m starting xsane i get the message that no sane devices are
available. The entrys in the /etc/sane.d/dll.conf and mustek.con
