This is the solution I use. You need to make sure not to run any
application which accesses the rtc until the kernel driver is corrected.

OK, I'll bite. What can I do to help? How do I contact debian-boot?
I'd don't want to see m68k support disappear as debian is the only
distribution that support the architecture as far as I know.

No X starts fine from the startx command. Using startx doesn't invoke
xdm. The problem is with xdm. Try using gdm or kdm and see if they
experience the same problem.

Why would someone check www.netbsd.org for information on linux
support? There is a perfectly adequate site at
http://maclinuxstatus.sourceforge.net/status/ which shows that the LCII
is supported. The LC however does not contain an MMU and therefore is
not supported.

currently one of the m68k Mac kernel maintainers and I have the
following Macs I use to test on (IIx, IIci, IIsi, IIfx, IIvx, Q900,

Speaking as a maintainer for the m68k for Macintosh kernel the 2.2.20
kernel is the most functional and stable kernel available for the m68k
Macintosh. The 2.0.x kernel doesn't even support very many of the m68k
Mac models, and those it does support have better, faster support in
