Plip in potato 2.2r7, ATARI TT030

Hello, I would like to use plip on my ATARI TT030 for a permanent parallel network connection, but it seems, there is no plip in the kernels 2.2-10, 2.2-17, 2.2-19. And I could not find plip.o in the linkable modules for all these kernels. Am I right? If yes, is there a special reason for it? Tha
