Just to correct/clarify this part:
Margarita Manterola, who joined the DebConf Committee last year,
doesn't expect to be able to attend the DebConf13 decision
Thank you to everyone who volunteered to help on the DebConf Committee
(both on-list and off-list). We had a lot of well-qualified
