What exactly did you do in VisualStudio? Did you edit your project file
outside of the IDE or did you make a change in your IDE or did you edit a
Windows environment variable?

correct to me. What is it that you're surprised about?

What I mean that the result has no difference compared to when I didn't use
GridTools::lapace_transform(
