First off, I'll ask: would adding an SMTP server (relay, the works, so an MTA
more accurately) be beyond the scope of dbmail completly? Or rather, is dbmail
being developed with 100% reliance on other MTAs and no future plans of having
it's own MTA built-in?
After looking over the SMTP protocol
I just downloaded a copy of DBMail via CVS, and am attempting to set it
up. I ran configure with --woth-mysql --prefix=/usr/local/dbmail. I
created the dbmail.conf file, all looks good.
Up until I try to add a user. Heck, here's the documentation example.
proxy bin # ./dbmail-adduser a john se
Exact same error.

Found the problem, it's a bug in the CVS version I'm sure
Aug 4 23:53:28 proxy dbmail/adduser[8481]: __auth_query(): query
failed: [Table 'dbmail.users' doesn't exist]
"dbmail.users" instead of what it should be, "dbmail_users".
