I apologize if this has been asked before, but I found no mechanism to
search the mailing list archives.
Is it possible to setup forwarding for email accounts with db mail? I
need the ability to have both regular mailbox accounts and accounts
that are forwarded elsewhere.

Add -lz to the compile command, probably in the Makefile.

How do virtual domains work with dbmail? Are there any limits for
virtual domains? How about the users? Are they per domain or what?

I've got dbmail running on Mac OS X 10.3.3 on a Quicksilver G4
PowerMac. For some reason, the lookupd process was utilizing 180% CPU
according to top. I killed some processes off to see what might be
influencing that, and as soon as I killed the dbmail-imapd processes,
lookupd's load went down
