I'm trying to use the proposed IMAP SORT extension in my webmail app, but
dbmail says there's a syntax error:
A5 SORT (SUBJECT) UTF-8 ALL
A5 BAD syntax error in sort keys
Here's the full listing:
A3 EXAMINE Inbox
* 1 EXISTS
* 1 RECENT
* FLAGS (\Seen \Answered \Deleted \Flagged \Dra
Serverside sorting is broken in 2.0. Don't use it.
It'll be fixed in 2.2...

Is there an ETA on 2.2 - a rough estimation, 3 months, 12 months?
Does SORT work in 2.1.2? Perhaps I can use it for development purposes and
replace it with 2.2 later.

It's still on the todo list for 2.2, so no, no sort in 2.1.x
