Hi.
i see in the archive that there was a problem with builds related to
dm_getopt, and that it's been fixed for (according to the bug tracker)
some (most?) BSD... but i can't build on OS/X.
Does anyone have a workaround to successfully make dbmail 2.0.4 on OS/X
(10.3.9)?

David, transactions are supported by all sq
The sort code in dbmail is broken/incomplete. It is suited only for
squirrelmail, and then only for charset us-ascii. A lot of groundwork for a
fixed search/sort implementation has already gone into 2.1, but it will take

David,
A double-free in main.c was fixed since 2.0.4 (bug #214), so a shapshot build
might indeed fix your problem. If not, please file a report on the tracker so I
can track this down.

I wrote that init script for the debian packages. It predates the pid-file
solution, and needs cleaning up. I'm on it.
