RH9, mysql-4.0.21 & Postfix-2.1.4. My Question:
Is it possible to name dbmail DB "tibdata" instead of "dbmail"?

with the dbmail distribution? Because your question is answered there
alright.
Yes, you can name the database anything you like, as long as you make
sure dbmail.conf reflects this name in the db= parameter.
