hello, hope this doesn't get bored as i already wrote about this in another thread - sorry ! i'm runing SuSE 8.1 with kernel 2.4.18 and dbmail version 1.2.1 ! and from time to time the pop3d and/or imapd process hangs itself up and uses 99% of the CPU ! even tried to recompile with different CFLA

hello again, it looks really like this is a bug in the kernel that comes with SuSE linux 8.1 ! the kernel is 2.4.18 ! even the recompile with the CFLAG option didn't solve the problem ! pop3d & imapd still hanging form time to time :-( however, best would be to update to SuSE linux 8.2 with a di

hello again, first thanks a lot to Ming-Wei for sending in his tips :-) but unfortunately even the recompile with the CFLAG options below didn't solve my problem :-( the pop3d & imapd processes still hang from time to time and it's also hard to say why ?!? so i think it must be a bug in the linux
