My pop3d is locking up every time I check email. Has this happened
before? I don't want to re-invent the wheel. Let me tell you guys about
what's up, and if there's no previously known solution I'm ready to dive
into the code and see what's fixable.
Details: I was using dbmail 1.0 since De
I went ahead and began investigating. I set tracelevel = 5 for
everything. I'm including the /var/log/maillog entries from my test, which
was: I connected Eudora and it ran a query and got no new
mail. Afterwards, a dbmail-pop3d process was eating 99% of the cpu.

I've revised the dbmail pop3d. All bugs recently mentioned on this list
should be fixed now. I haven't had much time yet to check it, but it
seems to work fine. Please help me test it so i can fix any more bugs
that might turn up this weekend. If the pop is OK, Roel will fix some
more

I did a lot of code cleanup. Just before 1.0 we removed the popd tcp/ip
software and replaced it with a generic tcp/ip framework that we
created. The pop3d code wasn't really ready for that as turned out.
Please test a lot before use. If you find any other problems please let
