indeed it does seem pretty silly to me to do a complete mailbox search when you are just wanting to synchronize.. Most clients just fetch a list of all the unique id's from the server and compare this list with the locally stored mailbox. Missing id's on the server list indicates a removed message

CVS as of the 8th works fine with Mozilla (1.0 on linux) and with kmail (konqueror). I have had a minor problem with kmail, but it seems to be kmail's fault. So, can you be more specific as to the problem (set TRACE_LEVEL to 5 and give us the output of your syslog). Edward Allen On Wednesd

I am trying to test out a dbmail installation. When I transfer mail to a dbmail IMAP mailbox with KMail I always get a lost connection. I have been watching the logs and when it happens it shows the text of the message being transfered one character to a line like such: Jul 10 16:20:25 destin
