Only dbmail-2.1.x support ldap authentication. Did you setup dbmail.conf to
connect to your ldap server? Does dbmail-users -l show your users?

Also have ldap working - ssh and samba authenticate fine.
I just can't seem to find the magic to make dbmail use ldap to
authenticate instead of the mysql db.
What am I missing?

It won't work (yet). Ldap support is planned for the 2.1 cycle.

Actually. It's in better shape than I first thought. I'll start testing more
extensively tomorrow. Don't expect to use dbmail-user as a replacement for your
ldap tools though. Better look at cpu for a compact commandline tool. But if we
can authenticate against ldap, and hookup the delivery-chai

fixed some minor issues.
I don't think anyone is using this at the moment. But I really need this too.
