It seems to work for me (but I haven't done extensive testing).
The same thing could be done for the camera too, of course.
I'm curious to see what people think.

Ahhh.. I just realized I allowed the change to be called a workaround,
and so assured its dismissal. :)
I think of it as a feature of dt that helps avoid user frustration when
the very nice lensfun packge doesn't happen to work for them. Oh well...
