There are other problems related to the masks.
I remark that if I'm editig a mask quite a lot with zoom & pan to see
exactly what I'm doing, then with "zoom to fit", the mask layout
borders are corretly displayed but the underlaying picture is not: it
is correctly displayed for a very short t

can't move the selection.
