that I share.
For sure I'll continue to use an image organizer as a selection base and
I'll configure it (good suggestion) in such a way that it opens directly
the files in DT.
Now I use XnView MP in Wind

Why not simply use some sort of browser already there in the operating
system and then 'right-click' - 'open in darktable' to edit the photo
you like to work with?
