In darktable lightview, I always used to order photos "sort by rating",
and then set the file manager with '1' shown photos (the highest zoom).

Yes you are right. but in your case, the couple is the main thing that
is moving in the picture. For my use case imagine I am taking photo
When you shoot a burst of photos, then in darktable you will select
the one that is more focused (less blurred). It would be great if
darktable would be able to select automatically the less blurred photo

I am having by a lot of time, system freezes when darktable uses OpenCL
with my nVidia Geforce GTX260 340xx drivers. I am pretty sure that it is
a nVidia fault because when I started experiencing this kind of
troubles, I started experiencing them on BOINC too.
