I'm a problem with setup.exe
If I download on a pc in a local directory using setup.exe all the
distribution of cygwin and that install it (using always setup.exe) at
the end of the installation I obtain a bash shell running.
If I copy the same directory on another pc an run setup.exe at the
end
the directory home parallel to bin, usr, lib, etc, under home
make the diectory peterpan
than run the cygwin.bat and i'm not able to do any command.
WHERE I can find the setup log?

To avoid this possibility, I tried to erase all about cygwin and
cygnus erasing dirs and also using regedit and erasing everything
related to cygwin and cygnus
the result do not change

What run for you is exactly what was running for me few months ago.
Now I tired at least 3 times to download all application copy all the
repo, run setup.exe without success

I looked in the postinstall directory and all the file have .done how
you can see in the attached file
Only the joe-manifest.lst do not have .done but there is joe.sh.done

I can also say that using the setup.exe and trying to go in the same
mirrors, using the 'install' options, ash is marked like keep and
probably setup do not download it.

the last release to download once is a wrong approach?
