A new Windows 7 32 system with a fresh install of CYGWIN can't see any mapped
network or shared drives on my other systems. On the older XP system IT tells

The source tar balls I can find of rxvt are quite old and the config.guess in
the package doesn't recognize a win 7 x64, Cygwin64 system. Any pointers to
getting a x64 rxvt to build?

Updated cygwin on Dec 23 then was no longer able to start XWin. Windows 10 Pro
fully updated. Saw similar problems occurring in the past on Google.
A log of the attempt is attached with cygcheck /usr/bin/xkbcomp. Tried several
of the legacy suggestions without success. Any suggestions?

The legends in the heading for emacs have turned into boxes. the text in
buffers is normal.
What interaction is causing this? The X11 emacs is unusable emacs -w32 works.
