$CYGWIN is 'ntsec'
crontab has a "ls -l" command that gets scheduled every 5 minutes.
But, I see the following in event log every 5 minutes:
"...(CRON) error (can't switch user context)."
Can anybody comment on this?

tin-1.6.2 displays ? in place of 8-bit chars, and its gettext always
transliterates messages though it selects the correct message
catalogue after setting LC_ALL (this is Cygwin 1.5.8 on XP-Pro).
Is this a known problem, or am I missing sth?

textdomain() functions when NO_LOCALE is set.
