Hi,
I'm having the same problem as described in this thread. I just
installed Cygwin, so I have the latest version.
So, does the "1.5.3" version refer to something that I need to install
in addition?
TIA,

Thanks Larry.
Yeah, I looked that the whole thread and it wasn't clear. I'll do some

Hi,
What I would like to do is very simple (I hope): Determine which Win
applications are running and, if possible, what the names are in the
title bars.
How best can that be done? I'd prefer to use TCL.
TIA,

Hi,
I have the need to remotely access Windows via an expect app (on Unix)
and run various DOS commands and possibly start/stop Windows
applications too. Based on earlier conversations on this mailer, it
doesn't look like it can be done by telnetting into the Cygwin telnet
daemon and issuing com
Hi,
I'm installing Cygwin on about 30 different machines at once. I've already
installed the basic Cygwin package which was very easy. Unfortunately, I
need to do much more. All of the PCs need to be identically configured with
ssh, telnet and ftp enabled and running as services.

Hi,
Has anyone written a utility/script that can change the name of the PC? I
have several _dozen_ PCs that need to be converted to a new naming
convention.
TIA,
