The second says the command wont work unless I have appropriate

Hi list,
I want to install inetd as a service.
Inetutils docs says we can install it with
inetd --install-as-service.
It runs, but at boot time the service doesn't launch.
Trying to run it by hand gives :
Service didn't answer fast enough to start or control request.
Any clues to debug it ? I se

Hi,
When run with WINE,
setup.exe 2.194.2.15 displays stranges characters in
the window title (non-blocking problem),
but stops function after choosing the mirror. (the
only one that appears is the last used when running
the previous version).
A subwindow is apparently tried to be open.

I agree with you, but in that case, setup.exe wouldn't

Hi,
while looking for the new Xfree86 packages in my
local package directory (in my case D:\cyg-install),
I see that packages are saved in a curious directory
since March 22th.
Its name is :

Hi,
I wanted to update my existing Xfree86-4.2.0-1

So i choose a "default" Xfree86 installation.
All files downloaded correct,
and i was told that everything was ok.
But at reboot,

files, and no one is replaced (wininit.ini isn'

Hello Gerrit,
I was using the last cvs version of MySQL. (cvs source
download started at 2001-12-02, 14:00 :) ).
There was no configure in the directory when i
downloaded it.
Seemed to be the 4.0 alpha version.
Did compile OK with the 3.13 sources, so don't care.
