inside connect() as is evident from the strace in panel.log and all I get is a blank gnome-panel. As I said, all I have to do to get it to work is to go back to 1.5.13 snapshot. I am not sure what changed between 1.5.13 and 1.5.15 to cause this. Thanks for looking into it. Sunil

y to find it in LD_LIBRARY_PATH (plus /usr/lib from 1.5.17). what happens in this case: dlopen("/a/b/c.dll",...) and c.dll depends on /a/b/d.dll. This dlopen of c.dll fails if /a/b is not in PATH, although it is in LD_LIBRARY_PATH. I don't think this is linux behaviour. Thanks, -Sunil --- S

I found that less was not working...and got it fixed (copied "less" from old binaries) However still not been able to see the man pages. When I run the man page it shows some empty lines and that's it. Does someone know about this issue and the fix? Regards, Sunil -O
