Hello, I have encountered a problem running emacs under cygwin after running the rebaseall utility. When I run emacs it will load and appear to run normally, but when I try to run any command it hangs and spins up the CPU. I experience a similar problem running emacs with the X11 libraries under

I recently upgraded to cygwin 1.5.21-1. Once doing so I noticed that I could no longer run emacs. emacs would hang and take up around 90-99% of the cpu. Attaching a debugger, I noticed that one of the threads appeared to be in an infinite loop. I downloaded the emacs source, rebuilt it (debug)

Reinstall libncurses7 after rebasing (was: emacs hangs at start, or sometime later)
