I have some trouble installing Cygwin under W2k.
If I install it under W2k as a standalone workstation or on a fresh
workstation not joined to a domain, all is OK.
But, if I try to install Cygwin on a workstation already in service and
joined to a domain (also W2k server) I cannot get it to insta
I have done a clean install and tries the following
gzip -d binutils.tar.gz
tar -xvf binutils.tar
mkdir build-binutils
cd build-binutils
../binutils/configure --target=arc-8-elf --prefix=/bar
/bin/sh: not found
Config.guess failed to determine the host type. You need to specify one.
Usage: config

Tried a couple of things on the two machines (thanks to Andrew Markebo)
ls -l /bin/sh
--+ 1 Domain U 69632 Jul 31 2002 /bin/sh (non working)
-rwxrwxrwx 1 Administ Users 69632 Jul 31 2002 /bin/sh (working)
Any more ideas
