cron - Application Event Log

Hi, I would like to suppress logging of tasks by cron in the Windows Application Event log. I want to schedule a task that runs frequently but do not want the Event log to quickly grow. I did search the Cygwin mailing list archive and found this: http://sourceware.org/ml/cygwin/2004-10/msg01333.h

rsync package version in Cygwin

Hello, My apologies if this is a dumb question. I did look in both the cygwin and cygwin-apps mailing list archives for this information, and also tried Googling for it but could not find an answer. I'm wondering why the release of rsync that is in the current Cygwin setup is only 2.6.3, when 2.6
