I using cygwin with sylpheed-claws. I have to do my laptop new and move
all to a 2 laptop. On laptop 1 cygwin work fine. On laptop 2. I am not
able to run sylpheed-claws.

it is possible to make a script/ action etc. that by using a shortcut
or icon the cursor jump to the first new mail in a marked tread?

I know that Sylpheed Claws is not a official packet of cygwin but maybe
someone can give me a hint.
SC crash by switching a folder. I make a backtrace and send this output
to the SC ML.
They told me that it is possible that cygaspell can make this problem.

I modify the startx.bat by removing the line
I try to modify the startx.bat.
I remove
%RUN% xterm -e /usr/bin/bash -l
and put
%RUN% sylpheed-claws
in.
Now I was able to start SC by a window icon. But in this way I am not

it is possible to install cygwin on a external USB-hd? I think yes. I
use W2k and want to store my mails from Sylpheed claws there.
Or install cygwin normal and store the whole mails at the USB HD.
To do this I have to mount the USB HD to cygwin.
How to do this?
