perl-Tk and the hours of work...

On linux this particular perl-Tk app works just fine. However, perl-Tk on cygwin seems to disagree? Not entirely sure why, or what the issue is. It's just in development phase (ignore the sql errors, they are unimportant). Output below: $ ./console.pl DBI connect('console_scan:127.0.0.1','si

I have found the following bugs all this evening (despite years of not seeing them :) ) 1) Attempting to install Cygwin to the root of a drive causes setup to silently exit. I figured a stack overflow, but I tried running under a debugger and it doesn't occur there. Hm. It occurs on a "clean"

I installed openssh, openssl, libwrap0 and tcp_wrappers using Cygwin Setup, openssh is version 5.0p1-1 and openssl is version 0.9.8h-1. I can ssh to other boxes and I can ssh to myself after typing "net start sshd" but I cannot ssh from other boxes to this box. When I try that I get a "Connectio
