I have a fairly complete cygwin installation, so I ran a check of all
packages which contain exe's or dll's which depend on cygintl-2.dll.
Then, I checked the setup.hints of those packages. The following
packages should require: libintl2, but do not:
vim
make
rpm

Hey guys,
I've ran into a little problem. I have been porting an piece of software to
Cygwin. It builds and initially runs fine, but when I get a SIGALRM signal,
which I use for asynchronous timers, a few things return with an EINTR:
-select()
-IPC semaphores (using CygIPC)
Note that I am assert

Does anyone know the cygwin start up process. I am trying to see if I
can somehow get it to work. I have a broken installation, and I don't
know what to do.
Windoze created accounts with a space in it (not really my choice), so I
wonder if this install is messed up due to the infamous space in my
