Yep, there are several :)
One way is to get the winsup-src tarball from the snapshots
page on cygwin.com: http://cygwin.com/snapshots/
Or you can fetch from CVS - look at this page:

Do you have a reason for building gcc from source ?
If not just run setup.exe and install the precompiled
gcc + binutils.
If you insist on building from source you can look
for a file named config.log in the /home/nomit/objdir/libiberty
and see on which test the configure test failed.

setup.exe (``Download from Internet'' option).
When computer with repository doesn't have installed cygwin,
everything is Ok: on each setup.exe execution I could see new

You have to change every single package you want to
download from skip to the version you want. It is

It's not setup.exe - maybe you are behind a firewall
and you need a http proxy to access the web. If this
is the case just try using one of the proxy or IE5

having used cygwin from May until yesterday very successfully, I thought
it might be time to do an update. Bad idea. With the version I
downloaded yesterday, I experience the following problem:
One time out of about five, when I start a compilation in cygwin-xemacs
(M-x compile) the su
I have just downloaded the latest version of Cygwin (1.3.6)
and inetd now works for me under Win95OSR2.5
Many thanks to whoever fixed this!
I had quite a lot of trouble debugging it any further than I did
as my only Win95 machine is a 486-50 laptop!

the default PATH without tne NT Box sytem with a script(Perl for exemple).???

You only installed the latest inetutils package? It could be that you
didn't install all the packages necessary to run ftp. Setup.exe has
changed considerably lately, it no longer installs "all" packages by
default. You must select each package manually to install it. It could

2.125.2.10
for some reason, it displays only base packages as
available, and everything else as n/a.
did i miss an announcement? should i visit any
particular mirror?

The latest version of mutt in the unstable branch is 1.3.24. This is now
beta and it is the recommended version to use. Could this be added to
cygwin? It is much better than the old 1.2.5 version.
