PLEASE HELP: Perl 5.8.2 fork() does not work

Hi, I'm having problems to start a script using the fork() command under Perl 5.8.2-1. The same script runs under Perl 5.8.0 without problems. Here is what I get at standard output C:\cygwin\bin\perl.exe (3440): *** unable to remap C:\cygwin\lib\perl5\site_perl\5.8.2\cygwin-thread-multi-64int\au
