I've added a testversion of bash to the Cygwin distro, 2.05b-10. This version contains the patches from http://sources.redhat.com/ml/cygwin/2002-09/msg00446.html which addresses the slowness of bash in reading scripts. This could result in problems with scripts on textmode mounts, therefore this
