I had these problems also, I installed all Windows XP patches (yes, Windows
patches, dont laugh !) and voila, everything works again. If someone has an
explanantion, he is welcome...

I attached another strace output of a telnet, if you like me to "strace"
something else, just let me know. A strange thing is that Windows telnet
works and cygwin telnet does not...

What do you mean "they get mixed up", they exactly know where to send the
output, in the bash where you executed telnet or ssh, can you please clarify
?
