I can use an emulated LPT port to a shared network printer from Cygwin but
I'd like to print to a local LPT port also.
The local printer has no IP address. Is it possible to print to a physical
LPT port?
If I do this:
ls > LPT1:
a file called LPT1: is created on the hard drive rather t
In Linux it returns a time value and return code of 0:

In the latest build of Windows 10, sent out on 5 Sep 2018, the gcc compiler
no longer gives a segmentation error. Whew! I'm glad that's fixed.

Are you sure you don't have it already? Try 'cygcheck -cd cygwin' to find out:

The problem turned out to be that the mirror I was us
